  1. RETURN AND/OR CANCELLATION POLICY & PROCEDURE

According to the Electronic Communication and Transactions Act, you as a consumer are entitled to a general right to return for seven days after delivery, for any reason without penalty, the consumer however will be liable for the cost of returning the goods.

1.1  You are entitled to cancel any purchase of any product or service within 7 days (cooling-off period) from which they were delivered.

1.2  Upon expiry of the “cooling-off” period no purchaser will be entitled to cancel any purchase.

1.3  Goods need to be returned unused and in its original packaging with all labels attached, within 7 days of receiving the item.

1.4  A handling fee of 10% will be charged on cancellation of a purchase. Delivery charges for returning unwanted items within the “cooling-off” period (7 days) are for the purchasers account.

1.5  A refund will be affected to a purchaser exercising his right to cancel, within 30 days of cancellation, subject to the 20% handling fee and any delivery costs that may be incurred in affecting the refund.

1.6  Such refund will only take place when SocialDums receives your parcel subject to the above mentioned conditions.

1.7  Please note that certain items may not be returned or limitations may be placed on them for various reasons

These items include:

1.7.1      Jewelry – We cannot accept returns on any pierced jewelry for hygiene reasons.

1.7.2      We do not accept returns on perishable items

1.7.3      Software programes – We cannot accept returns on software programes if the plastic wrapping and/or security seal has been broken or of any digital downloads.

1.7.4      Electronics- For your safety privacy and any other data concerns please ensure that you delete any data downloaded on to any electronics and reset the product to factory settings before returning the product to SocialDums. We are not responsible for any data contained on returned items.

1.8  If you fail to comply with the provisions of this Returns Policy, we reserve the   right to refuse returns or to charge you our fees and expenses.
